DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 221/2018

of 26 October 2018

amending Protocol 31 to the EEA Agreement, on cooperation in specific fields outside the four freedoms [2021/504]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Articles 86 and 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)

It is appropriate to extend the cooperation of the Contracting Parties to include Council Recommendation of 15 March 2018 on a European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships (1).

(2)

Protocol 31 to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The following indent is added in paragraph 8 of Article 4 of Protocol 31 to the EEA Agreement:

‘—

32018 H 0502: Council Recommendation of 15 March 2018 on a European Framework for Quality and Effective Apprenticeships (OJ C 153, 2.5.2018, p. 1).’

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the day following the last notification to the EEA Joint Committee under Article 103(1) of the Agreement (*1).

Article 3

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
